Background: A large-scale research centre at DTU (Technical University of Denmark) will help create new major oil revenues. The Danish Underground Consortium (DUC) has invested DKK 1 billion in The Danish Hydrocarbon Research and Technology Centre to conduct research into how a larger share of oil and gas reserves can be extracted from the North Sea.
